The changing leaves create a spectacular show.
It's autumn in Arkansas and the woods are aglow!
Only the Master, Himself, could paint such a collage.
It's so beautiful you think it must be a mirage!

A drive in the Ozarks is something everyone must do
because no one should be deprived of that view!
There is beginning to be a nip in the air
perhaps as a warning that winter is near!
Farmers have gathered the crops from the field
and are thankful for a bountiful yield!
School is in session throughout the state;
hopefully, young minds will receive a full slate!

Football teams are working overtime
since they know the feel of victory is sublime!
Fans are cheering throughout the state
to be certain the home team performance is first rate!
The state livestock show is where many will be found.
A smaller version of this show will be in many towns.
Costumes are gathered for witches, ghosts & clowns;
October 31, kids compete to be the scariest around!
One day is set aside late in November
as a special day to thank God and remember!!!
We thank God also that the U.S.A. is our place of birth,
Since Americans are the most blessed people on earth!!!
